Tucked into the rolling hills just outside Santarcangelo, Collina dei Poeti is a charming countryside inn surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It’s peaceful, scenic, and feels wonderfully removed from the rush of travel, the kind of place where kids can roam a little more freely and parents can truly unwind. What made this stay especially memorable was the on-site pasta-making class. We rolled out fresh tagliatelle together, then sat down for dinner overlooking the estate as the sun set over the vines. The kids spent the evening running around outside while we lingered over a glass of local wine, it felt like such an authentic, easy Italian experience.
Rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully set up for families (ours had bunk beds for the kids), and breakfast is included each morning. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, they even drove us to the train station the next day. For a relaxed, family-friendly Emilia-Romagna stay that feels both special and effortless, this one is hard to beat.
